There will be a grand inauguration of the Government Agricultural Industrial Exhibition (Numaish) at 1 pm on 1st February. The inauguration will be done by the Chief Guest and State Cabinet Minister Chaudhary Laxmi Narayan, Minister of State for Basic Education Sandeep Singh, Minister of State for Revenue Anoop Pradhan by jointly cutting the ribbon of Mittal Dwar. Public representatives of the district have been invited to the function. Divisional Commissioner Ravindra will preside over the function.
Here, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain on February 1. In such a situation, rain can create disruption in this grand ceremony. The concern of administrative officers regarding this has increased. Anyway, the preparations for the exhibition were incomplete and the officials were working day and night to complete them. A meeting was held under the chairmanship of ADM City Amit Kumar Bhatt in Krishnanjali Auditorium regarding security arrangements, duty etc. in the exhibition. Officers and employees were assigned their responsibilities. In the exhibition, discussions were also held regarding monitoring of police station, outpost, control room, CCTV cameras etc., cleanliness system etc. The main function will be held in Krishnanjali Auditorium. Various cultural programs will also take place on this occasion. On the eve of the inauguration, the exhibition complex was illuminated with electric lights.
The decoration phase is going on now
This time the preparations for the exhibition are getting delayed. Shops, circus, swings, sports, shows etc. have not been fully decorated. Shops have not been set up in other major markets including Hullad Bazaar, Barhadwari. Due to lack of allotment, many shops are still seen empty. The cleanliness system at the Municipal Corporation level is still in a state of disrepair. The stalls in the Agriculture Room and Industry Pavilion are not fully decorated yet. Decoration work is also going on in Krishnanjali Natyashala, Kohinoor Manch, Muktakash, Food Court, Neeraj Shahryar Park built for cultural programs. The work of decorating shops is currently going on in various markets including Shilpgram, Kashmiri Bazaar, Photo Exhibition, Durbar Hall, Lal Tal, Jhanda Hotel Bazaar, Nanbai Bazaar.
